Mark your calendars! On Saturday, May 18, 2024 we invite you to unite with CPAs, accounting professionals and students for our annual CPA Day of Service. Each year the YCPA committee spearheads this opportunity to share their passion for service across the state. Propose a project to your chapter members, your colleagues, and your respective firms. Last year we had over 100 individuals participate in 9 service projects across the state! Start looking at the possibilities; May 18 will be here before you know it!

The Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Club of Marion County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing young people with a safe and positive environment where they can learn, grow, and develop into responsible adults. Volunteers will be refreshing paint to make the space more inviting. Breakfast and lunch provided by Crippen & Co., LLP.

Bread of the Mighty
Bread of the Mighty

Bread of the Mighty Food Bank  collects, sorts, stores and distributes donated food and basic essentials to over 200 nonprofit agency partners such as food pantries and feeding programs. This food is then redistributed back into the community, addressing hunger and supporting those in need. Volunteers will assist in sorting and packing donated food.

Caring And Sharing of South Walton
Caring and Sharing

Caring & Sharing of South Walton provides food and financial support to neighbors in need in Walton County. Sales in the Thrift Store help cover operating expenses and generate funds to help those they serve with food, prescriptions, utilities, mental health counseling, and case management. Volunteers will help inspect, sort, and pack perishable/ non-perishable items.

Clean The World

Clean the World works with over 8,100 hospitality partners to recycle discarded soap and plastic bottle amenities, diverting millions of pounds of waste from landfills and providing essential hygiene supplies to vulnerable communities worldwide. Volunteers will sort through incoming product from hospitality partners and prepare it to be processed.

The Diaper Bank
The Diaper Bank

The Diaper Bank covering South Florida partners with local non-profits who serve families that fall at or below the federal poverty level to help eliminate the diaper need. They have served more than 15,000 families and distributed over 5,000,000 diapers. Volunteers will load diapers into vehicles of our non-profit partners who in turn will distribute over the next 3 months.

Feeding Northeast FL

Feeding Northeast Florida is the largest, most efficient food bank serving Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam & St. Johns Counties. The support of  partners and volunteers enables them to serve over 85,000 neighbors in need every day. Volunteers will sort donated food including dry goods, meat, produce, or pack Snack Packs for our school programs.

Feeding Tampa Bay is leading the movement to end hunger, rallying our community together to create a healthier, more capable Tampa Bay and beyond. Volunteers in our warehouse help inspect perishable and non-perishable food for their expiration date and quality, then package those good foods into bags and boxes that will be distributed to our neighbors soon thereafter.

The Jacksonville Humane Society provides care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the killing of abandoned and orphaned shelter animals. Volunteers will be walking dogs allowing them to enjoy a day outside of the shelter and come back feeling much more relaxed.

Keep Pensacola Beautiful

The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest community improvement program. Annually, more than 300,000 volunteers engage in projects that return more than $20 million in measurable benefits across thousands of participating communities. Volunteers will be painting buildings and dugouts at a local park.

The Live Like Bella® Childhood Cancer Foundation is committed to being a recognized leader in childhood cancer research and advocacy while providing financial and emotional support to families whose children are battling cancer. Volunteers will cut fabric to make prayer blankets that will distributed to childhood cancer patients at local children’s hospitals.

Meals On Wheels

Meals On Wheels of Tampa provides homebound seniors with fresh, nutritious meals and a daily visit from volunteers. This special delivery gives them a reason to get up in the morning, something to look forward to and a reminder to take care of themselves. Volunteers will be providing hot and nutritious meals and a friendly visit to senior and homebound neighbors.

Second Harvest

Second Harvest of the Big Bend, part of the national Feeding America network, is a nonprofit food bank that feeds thousands of people by operating specialized feeding programs and collecting and distributing food to hunger-relief charities. Volunteers will assist in harvesting potatoes at Lott's community garden.

Shoreline Cleanup

Did you know that Bill Keith is a hidden gem and one of the nicest nature preserves tucked away in the tranquil Shady Banks neighborhood right off I-95 and Davie Blvd.?  Help us maintain the pristine shorelines along the banks of the New River and make new friends. Volunteers will use buckets and trash pickers to pick up trash from along the shoreline.
