FICPA Council
Council receives policy recommendations from the Board of Directors for approval consideration. They are responsible for evaluating, revising, and recommending the strategic initiatives for the institute and authorizing resolutions on issues impacting the profession on behalf of the institute.
The Council consists of 31 Members:
- 11 members of Board of Directors
- 17 at-large members
- 2 recent past chairs
- YCPA Committee Chair (non-voting)
- Secretary/Treasurer (non-voting)

The Board of Directors researches issues and policy suggestions and presents their recommendations to the Council.
