Cheri is an audit manager with Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC in Winter Park. She has 13 years of experience with the firm, providing accounting and auditing services, specifically to non-profits and educational industries. Cheri is currently serving a two-year term on FICPA's Council and also serves on the FICPA's audit committee and spent several years on the Young CPAs committee.
Cheri is a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). She is a member of CRI's IT Audit Team and has also assisted Auditwerx, a division of CRI, performing Service Organization Control (SOC) Reports. She has taken specific training on the use of Active Data, a computer assisted audit techniques (CAAT) tool, and has several years of experience utilizing this type of software to assist in performing auditing procedures.
In 2012 and 2015, Cheri was named one of the FICPA's 26 Under 36, which recognizes 26 members of the FICPA who have demonstrated a high level of professional experience, leadership and volunteerism.
Cheri is a member of Orange County Public School's Leadership Orange Class VII. She serves as Treasurer for Girls on the Run Central Florida and will be running as a solemate for the Organization in the 2018 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend.
She is a devoted mom of two children, a UCF football fan, enjoys traveling, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
