About The Instructor

Richard A. Josepher received his B.A., J.D. and L.L.M. degree in Taxation from the University of Florida. He has written and lectured on various tax topics, including entity selection, various aspects of pass-through taxation, including partnership taxation, tax procedures relating to partnerships and "S" corporations, and IRS offer-in-compromise procedures. He is listed, under "Tax Law," in the "The Best Lawyers in America."

He is the Immediate-Past Chair of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar for the year 2002-2003. During 1997 and 1998 he chaired the Tax Section's committee which worked with Florida's legislature to eliminate the Florida corporate income tax on limited liability companies.

He served during 1996-2001, and 2003, as Co-Chairman of the Jimmy Cefalo Cystic Fibrosis Charity Golf Tournament. He has served on the Executive Board of the Broward County YMCA's Indian Guides Program. He serves as member of the City of Parkland's Charter Review Board. He is also a charter member of the South Florida Tax Litigation Association.
