About The Instructor

Jack Fintz is a lifelong "local" having been born, raised and educated in South Florida. He has been a Florida CPA since 1997. In 1996, he began his career with Ernst & Young. He migrated into private for almost 10 years before launching his own CPA firm, Fintz CPA PA, in 2008. He has since expanded his firm through acquisition and has successfully transitioned 8 CPA firm's to date and continues to welcome more opportunities for mutually beneficial successions.

He joined the FICPA NDSB's MAP (Management of an Accounting Practice) group over 10 years ago and he was immediately hooked. Since 2016, he enthusiastically leads the MAP group. Jack greatly enjoys the comradery and idea sharing within the group. The MAP is committed to strengthening all local CPA's and making them better practice managers. Jack is also now humbled and honored to return as the North Dade South Broward Chapter President for 2023/2024. When not serving the chapter he is heavily involved in various community-based organizations as well as very committed to his local EO (Entrepreneur Organization) South Florida chapter.

He is a very proud alumnus of Florida International University (FIU) where he earned his Master of Accounting, Bachelor of Accounting, and Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance and International Business). He even returned to FIU for many years as an adjunct professor teaching financial accounting. As a former successful Becker CPA Review student, he also returned to Becker as an instructor facilitating new CPA candidate's preparation for the CPA exam and mastery of the ever-changing subject matter covered.
