About The Instructor
Chanel Filus serves as Income Tax Manager at Darden Restaurants. As part of her role, she leads the preparation of the provision for income taxes, tax controversy and tax fixed assets.Chanel joined Darden in June of 2014 and has more than 14 years of experience in Income Tax. In her position, she leads a team of accounting and tax professionals who accurately prepare and file state and federal tax documents, while developing tax strategies and policies that help Darden maintain compliance with local and federal tax laws and regulations.
Chanel received her bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Notre Dame. She worked at Ernst & Young LLP and True Partners Consulting prior to joining Darden.
