Overview:
CPA Personal Financial Planning Boot Camp
June 10, 2024
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
8 CPE Hours
The demand for CPA financial planners has never been greater. An IBISWorld survey reported that personal financial planning is projected to grow two times faster than tax compliance services alone. Likewise, a Pew Research Center study found that by 2030, 18% of the nation’s population will have turned 65. A recent AICPA survey of high-income and high-net-worth consumers revealed that two out of three participants sought advice from a CPA on tax and financial planning topics.
Those statistics present unlimited opportunity for CPA financial planners to step in with the knowledge and experience necessary to understand their clients' entire financial picture and to help them plan comprehensively.
The FICPA, in partnership with CPAlliance (a division of CPS Investment Advisors) is offering this unique boot camp to help CPAs offering tax, retirement, estate, risk management and investment planning services to become CPA financial planners.
To help practitioners develop a financial planning practice, the full-day program covers:
- Becoming a Financial Planner
- The CPA Financial Planner Playbook
- Financial Planning and Investments 101
- Building and Integrating Your CPA Financial Planning Practice
It will conclude with veteran and new practitioners sharing how they successfully incorporated financial planning into their thriving practice.
