Message From the Chair

Colleagues, practitioners and friends:

On behalf of myself and the Committee I would like to personally invite you to the 2019 Florida Gulf Coast University Accounting and Tax Conference. To our frequent attendees, thank you for your advice and input to help the Committee make this a great conference.

We believe we have put together a timely and informative educational program that will prepare you for 2020 and the issues that that can be expect to affect your practice or business. The A&A topics will include work paper documentation issues, a FASB update by a member of the FASB, Fraud detection, Peer review, Fiduciary Accounting and CIRA. Timely TB topics will include a Section 199A discussion by Alan Gassman, Block Chain, succession planning, opportunity zones and a double dose of sales tax from both James Sutton and Joe Moffa that will include a discussion of current construction sales tax issues, the latest on Wayfair, its fallout and other nexus rules.

For those familiar with the conference, it will be even better than the 2018 program and those who are not we hope you consider what we believe is one of the very best CPE programs provided by the FICPA.

Thank you for choosing our conference for your CPE needs.
