About The Instructor

Ken is a Of Counsel with Berkowitz Pollack and Brant Advisors and Accountants.  Ken has more than 40 years of experience in tax consulting and estate and financial planning for entrepreneurs and business owners.  Ken works with companies and entrepreneurs at all stages of their evolution, from initial corporate structuring to succession planning.  Ken strives to be a valuable resource and advisor to both founders and second-generation owners.
Ken received his Bachelor Degree from Boston University in 1975 and his Masters in Tax from Florida International University in 1981. Ken has lectured extensively to professional groups and clients, and has published many articles in professional journals and commercial publications. 
Ken is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and served on the Individual Tax Committee and the Interest Expense Task Force.  He is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served as Chairman, on the Executive Committee, the Board of Governors, Editorial Chairman of Committee for the Florida CPA Today.  He is Former Chairman of the Federal Taxation Committee and Past-President of the North Dade/South Broward Chapter.  He is also a  Certified Financial Planner.
