This session will cover some of the best practices in reviewing Form 1041. The use of trusts has proliferated in recent years resulting in an increased interest in the fiduciary income tax return. The IRS has turned its attention toward Form 1041, and is now training auditors to focus on problems the IRS believes will generate huge dollars in this area. Trusts today are widely used and through this session professionals will gain understanding of how to handle some of the complexities of reviewing the fiduciary return.
