If you are already using PivotTables and are looking to make your reports and analyses even more powerful, then this is the program for you! In this session, you will build upon your existing knowledge of basic PivotTables to make Excel’s best feature even more powerful. More specifically, you will learn how perform such actions as creating user-defined calculation in your PivotTables, advanced data grouping techniques for PivotTable data, how to use Power Pivot to create more advanced PivotTables, and advanced PivotTable tips and techniques to speed the process of creating reports and analyzing data.
Objectives:*Create PivotTables and PivotCharts and add advanced elements to PivotTables, such as calculated fields and calculated items *Group PivotTable data based on user-defined fiscal reporting periods *Create enterprise-class PivotTables from large and complex data sets, using Microsoft’s Power Pivot tool *Utilize advanced sorting and filtering techniques, PivotCharts, and GETPIVOTDATA to analyze PivotTable data *Describe how to apply specific PivotTable techniques such as Show Report Filter Pages and VLOOKUPs to solve specific issues associated with PivotTables
