About The Instructor
Joe Mucha is a Sr Director in the Verizon Accounting organization, based out of Lake Mary FL. Joe has worked at Verizon for over 10 years in a variety of leadership positions, most notably leading the implementation of the ASC 606 revenue recognition standard and the CECL accounting standard. Prior to Verizon, Joe worked as an auditor with PwC as well as Dopkins and Company (a McGladrey network firm based out of Buffalo NY). Joe graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance and received his MBA from the University of Buffalo.
