About The Instructor

At EY, Rummesa Abrar is a highly skilled member of the Private Tax practice, serving high net-worth individuals, private companies, and family offices. Her expertise allows her to assist clients in building, preserving, and transitioning wealth through generations. She sets an exceptional example by excelling in project management, leading client meetings, refining metrics, and managing expectations within both US and India teams. As the main contact for her clients, she has cultivated strong relationships at the C-Suite level.  Alongside her client responsibilities, Rummesa holds internal leadership roles at EY. She serves as a peer advisor for colleagues from India on US rotation, offering guidance and support. She also mentors students as part of CollegeMAP, working to enhance educational opportunities for underserved youth and foster talent development for future generations.  Rummesa's dedication extends beyond EY. She is an active member of the AICPA and FICPA, playing various leadership roles within FICPA's Young CPA, Federal Taxation, and Women Leadership committees. Due to her outstanding contributions, she was recently invited to participate in an exclusive statewide program, engaging with local thought leaders and advocating for the CPA profession.
