About The Instructor

Jimmy is an accomplished hands-on financial executive and educator with 30 years of domestic and international business experience in internal audit function management, Lean Six Sigma business process improvement, enterprise risk management, audit committee presentations, and operations finance. He is presently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Florida, teaching both Auditing and Internal Audit courses to aspiring CPAs. Previous to this role, his business career was comprised of leadership roles at two Big 4 public accounting firms and four Fortune 500 companies. He is also a Distinguished Faculty Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, delivering on-site governance, risk management, and internal control seminars to various companies and organizations around the world, including local IIA chapters, on Root Cause Analysis, Critical Thinking, Lean Six Sigma Tools, COSO ERM, COSO Internal Control, and ESG. Prior to his corporate career, he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after serving over 20 years on active duty.
