Newest FICPA Member Benefit: Florida Accounting and Auditing Section Accepting Charter Members

Accounting and Auditing is FICPA’s newest online community of practice! This Section is dedicated to providing Section members with resources encompassing numerous accounting and auditing topics through the sharing of knowledge and other valuable and timely information.

Want to get more involved? Section leadership is currently recruiting members to serve on the A&A Resource Council. This group will help to add content to the Web site and stimulate discussion on the A&A Listserv. For more information or to volunteer, contact sections@ficpa.org.

Network Directly With Over 80 A&A Section Members

As an A&A member, the Section's Listserv is your private area to ask questions, get feedback, learn best practices or simply open a discussion specifically focused on your niche of profession. To create a new discussion:

  • Click on “Access Listserv”

  • Login using your new FICPA login and password. Once the Listserv opens, select a Conference*.

  • Then click on “New Topic” in the right side of the discussion topic bar.
  • Enter a new topic name in the "Topic" field. Topic names should be brief and to-the-point.
  • Type in your message.
  • When you complete your message, click “Post.”
* "Conference" refers to the key subject matters for discussion. A&A have the following conferences which were established by members:
  • Accounting
  • Auditing
  • Business Plan Development
  • Ethics
  • Governmental Auditing and Accounting
  • Not-for-Profit Entities
  • Peer Review
  • Private / Closely Held Companies
  • Public Entities
